As a general rule on a screw chuck you can turn five times the diameter of the chuck face therfore this chuck is suitable for timber 12 inch wide. An ideal chucking solution for turning goblets, egg cups and fruit etc. For use on any lathe with a 3/4 x 16tpi spindle.

Manufactured from grey iron castings, this 4in faceplate is individually machined on external faces to a tolerances of 1/1000th of an inch. Eight countersunk location holes are goemetrically located to ensure optimum holding position. Woodscrews are not supplied, however we recommend the use of No. 14 Countersink screws, length of screw will vary depending on application. The CWA70 faceplate is suitable for bowls up to 16in For use on any lathe with a 3/4 x 16tpi spindle.

The CWA93 is a revolving centre designed for turning in between centres, but unlike traditional dead centres the revolving action of the CWA93 eliminates scorching of the timber. Machine ground on internal and external faces, the ‘sealed for life’ single bearing resists sideways and downward thrust pressures to enable out of balance timbers to be worked on without preparation.

Bowl rest which easily fits to the DML36SH giving full access to the swivel head function and increasing the bowl capacity.

This cast iron bowl turning arm and rest can easily be fitted to the lathe to conveniently access the swivelhead function – easing the turning of bowls and allowing the bigger capacities to be achieved. Suitable for use on a bench or on the legstand. Please note does not include CWA180 tubular bowl rest with standard product. Existing toolrest from lathe can be used.
