Wallpaper & Border Paste

Ready Mixed Wallcovering Adhesive is a ready mixed paste suitable for hanging all wall coverings including sculptured, blown and textured vinyl, washable and heavily embossed wallpapers. This product has a high initial tack combined with excellent adjustability for accurate positioning. 

 Easy application smooth formula. 
 Works on most types of wallpapers.
 Contains a powerful fungicide to prevent mould growth whilst the paste is drying.

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from any loose or flaky material. Gloss or non porous surfaces should be rubbed down to improve adhesion. Porous surfaces should be sized with a 1-1 dilution of this paste with water before hanging. Use neat when hanging and apply with a brush, roller or fine-notched trowel. Wipe off excess with a damp cloth before product dries. Clean tools immediately after use with warm water.

COVERAGE  approx. 1kg per roll of wallpaper.

This Wall Paper Stripper is a highly concentrated solution of surfactants designed to help strip wallpaper quickly and easily.    

 500ml makes up to 4 gallons of solution.  
 Works on most types of wallpapers.

Pour approx. ¼ of a bottle into 1 gallon (4.5 litres) of hot water. Stir well and work into wallpaper with a sponge. Scoring the wallpaper beforehand will help penetration. This is essential with washable wallpaper. Leaves for 5-15 minutes to take effect then remove paper with a scraper or steamer. If there are several layers of paper process may need to be repeated. Protect carpets and furniture and mop up any spills of liquid immediately.

EVERBUILD Overlap and Border adhesive, is a high strength, ready mixed paste suitable for hanging all types of borders (including vinyl). Overlap and Border adhesive may also be used for adhering overlaps and carrying out repairs to damaged paper sections. Overlap and Border adhesive will stick to all common papers as well as gloss and emulsioned walls.

For borders  cut border to required length. Gently score vinyl wallpaper where border is to be positioned. If using on pre pasted borders moisten before applying adhesive. Spread adhesive over border ensuring even coverage. Position border and smooth down with a sponge or cloth. Take care to keep the printed side of the border free of adhesive. If contact occurs wipe off excess adhesive with a damp cloth.

COVERAGE  1kg will hang approx.40m of a 13cm (5 inch) deep border.

For overlap repairs  apply the adhesive to the fixed substrate and press the overlap piece into position. Press firmly into place using a brush and wipe off excess immediately with a damp cloth.
