Mitre Saw's

For workshop or construction use the Rexon MS10RA compound mitre saw is an ideal tool. A powerful 1700 watt motor is at the heartof this machine. The 10" tungsten carbide tipped blade at 90º gives a full 3 5/8" x 5 3/4" crosscut. Frequent changing of the mitre and bevel angles are normal in the operation of a compound mitre saw. Ease of adjustment is therefore very important. The turntable on the Rexon compound mitre saw will turn up to 45º left and up to 60º to the right. The table can be locked at any angle while all the popular settings 0°, 15°, 22.5º, 30º, 45º, 60º are preset. Using this unique system makes setting easy.

Scroll Saws

For cutting intricate curves, nothing beats a scroll saw. With its delicate blade and reciprocating cutting action, a scroll saw allows you to make hairpin turns and inside cuts in wood and other material.

Band Saws

The band saw is one of the most versatile cutting machines in the workshop. It can rip, cross, mitre, bevel, curve or circle cut. The size of the band saw is indicated by throat size - the distance from the blade to the back post.

Sanders

Before finishing your work, sanding is probably one of the last procedures. Sanders can refine and accurately shape wooden surfaces. The size of a sander is described by the diameter or width of the sanding disc and belt, The Rexon belt and disc sander has a 4" (1 OOmrn) wide belt and a 6" (150mm) disc and is therefore known as a 4 x 6 belt and disc sander.

Mortising Machine

The bench Mortising Machine is one of the handiest tools any serious wood worker can have in the workshop. You can create accurate mortise joints with minimum effort; you can also reverse the column to allow you to mortise doors over the edge of the workbench.

Drill Presses

The size of a drill press is expressed in terms of swing. This is twice the distance between the column and the centre of the spindle.
Rexon offer two types of drill press:

A bench dnil press is normally considered if work space is limited. A floor type drill press is the first choice for most professionals.
