A DIY saw, the 349 features a special straight blade with extra sharp ground toothing that cuts on the pull stroke.

A knuckle guard is incorporated in the lightweight comfortable handle.

The saw also features a pointed nose which allows sawing in narrow places.

The blade tip is extended into a hook which prevents the blade from slipping out of the kerf during work.
A striking knife is attached to the blade and handle which is used for cutting through the bark and the surface wood on the underside of the branch prior to cutting. This prevents splintering and bark stripping when the branch breaks and falls.
