VDE Wire Stripping Pliers

Faithfull VDE pliers are made from chrome vanadium steel and undergo stringent high voltage tests. The quality of the insulated slip-guard safety handles and the induction hardened edges is assured.
VDE rated tools can safely be used when working on live electrical wires at voltages of up to 1000volts AC.

All Faithfull VDE rated pliers have been tested according to IEC900, DIN-EN-60900 and VDE 0680 part 2. This standard applies to both insulated, and insulating, hand tools.

Manufactured to exacting European standards individually tested to 10,000 volts and approved for working around live circuits that do not exceed 1,000 volts. The bi-material handles offer the user improved control and grip, incorporating slip guard shoulders for additional safety. They are resistant to temperatures from -20° to +70°C making them ideal for use in demanding or hostile environments.

Special tool steel, oil hardened wire stripper. With locking adjustable screw for setting the desired diameter (solid or stranded wire). Up to 5mm dia. resp. 10mm². Internal knurled nut for one hand adjustment. With opening spring.

Head chrome-plated, handles with heavy-duty insulation. VDE tested. Tested up to 1000V.

Used for single, multiple and fine stranded cables of 0.2 up to 6.0 mm sq with standard insulation. Adjusts automatically to the respective cable cross-section which prevents damage to the conductor.
The wire cutter is suitable for copper and aluminium wire up to 2.5mm sq and features an adjustable length stop from 6.0mm - 18.0mm
The body is made from fibreglass reinforced plastic with ergonomic soft plastic gripping zone in the handle.

Irwin Vise-Grip VDE pliers are manufactured from chrome nickel steel for improved durability on the gripping and cutting face. Featuring moulded, pull-resistant one component handles for added comfort and less hand fatigue.
